When they ask him to name his “guilty pleasures” on the red carpet for the 2009 Oscars, actor James Franco (Milk, Freaks & Geeks, etc.) can’t come up with one. Then he mentions that he’s reading a book by Toronto writer Carl Wilson (Zoilus.com) called “Let’s Talk About Love: A Journey to the End of Taste” (33 1/3 series) about Celine Dion and, as Franco says, “What constitutes taste.” So he’ll try to start watching some “bad” TV soon, he says, or at least listen to some Celine.
